In 1991, we forecast a need in the business market for reliable business infrastructure, communications, and monitoring systems and created our company.   J & L has since expanded to include management consulting, business planning, strategic planning, project management, planning and analysis, market research, consulting services, I.T. security assessment, systems engineering, and foreign company liasion for financial, insurance, and technology industries.

J & L is located in New York City.

Its foundation began in 1972 with its principal officer, Richard Johnston an MBA and electrical engineer (BSEE, MEA) working with businesses, US military, US government, and foreign governments in performing information risk assessment and analysis, risk/return analysis. Later work included design of insurance, bank, and hedge fund trading model systems And performed project coordination with foreign companies.
